Founded in 2010 by Jason Koerber, Elm City Music is committed to providing the greater Mondadnock Region with quality private music instruction.  Our location is convenient, clean, and relaxing.  Private instruction is available in Piano, Voice, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Recorder, Trombone, Trumpet,  French Horn, Guitar, Drum Set & Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello, Upright and Electric Bass, Music Theory and Improvisation.  All of our instructors are well versed in all styles/genres of music and are adept at tailoring the lessons to fit the student's level & learning style.  We welcome students of all ages and abilities.  From beginners to advanced, our faculty will help you achieve your musical goals.  All our instructors perform professionally & incorporate performance into their curriculum.


Percussion Camp: 4th - 8th Grade

Welcome to Elm City Music's Summer Percussion Camp directed by Michael Day!  This morning session is open to all drummers & percussionists or aspiring percussionists in the 4th - 8th Grade.  The Camp will be held July 30th - August 3rd 2018.

The 2018 Summer Percussion Camp will be week long session held at the  St. Joseph School, Keene, NH.  This class will meet for the entire week from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and will culminate with a Concert at the end of the workshop week.  Sessions will be tailored to the individual needs of students in the class.  Tuition for this week long Ensemble is $150 per participant.  Please see our other class offerings for additional afternoon class opportunities.  For more information please contact Elm City Music's Director Jason Koerber at or 603-762-0133.

Michael Day is Elm City Music's Percussion Teacher.  Michael has been teaching music in the North Middlesex (MA) School District since 2002 working with students in grades five through twelve. He also coaches the award winning percussion section of the NM Marching Band, and founded a middle school percussion ensemble. Prior to this appointment, he taught percussion for the wind ensemble at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute under the direction of Frank Battisti, conducting the percussion ensemble at Tanglewood's Seiji Ozawa Hall. Mr. Day is a graduate of Boston University, having studied timpani with Tim Genis, and percussion with Richard Flannigan. Mr. Day plays regularly with the Keene Chamber Orchestra, Monadnock Chorus, and the Windham Symphony, and has played in numerous other ensembles throughout the northest. While he specializes in timpani and classical percussion, his work with student includes drumset and world drumming.  Michael has been a resident of East Swanzey, New Hampshire since 2004.
