Carmen Buckley Reynolds received a BA in flute performance from the University of Maine at Orono in 1992. She has attended master classes with Paula Robison, Robert Dick, Julius Baker, Kay Gardner, Chris Norman, Seamus Egan and Paige Dashner Long. Carmen has taught flute, recorder and music theory in Waldorf schools, taught privately, and performed as a freelance musician throughout New England for the past twenty years. In New Hampshire she has performed with the Keene Chamber Orchestra, Monadnock Flutes and the Keene State College Flute Ensemble. In addition to teaching and performing, she continues to study and practice the low flutes of the flute family, the alto and bass, the traditional wooden flute and the bansuri flute. Jason is Elm City Music's Director and teaches Clarinet, Saxophone & Flute. He is a active local performer and has performed with Keene Chamber Orchestra, Ben Carr Music Project, Half Diminished Swing Band, Nouveau Swing, Jacksonville Blues Band, Keene Jazz Orchestra, Tom Foolery Band, Nines Band, the Pink Floyd tribute band Liquid Floyd, Raylynmor Opera Company, and The Monadnock Chorus & Orchestra. Jason has taught saxophone and clarinet at Vermont Academy - Saxtons River VT, The Putney School - Putney, VT, The Open Music Collective - Brattleboro VT, Peterborough Music - Peterborough NH and Cheshire Music - Keene, NH. Jason has studied saxophone with Scott Mullett, Harvey Kaiser, Mario Bernardo & Craig Sylvern. He has studied clarinet with Richard Sanders & Mario Bernardo and flute with Robin Matathias. Tim is an active clarinetist and educator from Swanzey, New Hampshire. As a performer, he has a special interest in promoting the bass clarinet and its repertoire. He has performed throughout New England, New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio with such groups as the Hillman Opera, Cheektowaga Symphony, Erie Chamber Orchestra, Lima Symphony, and the Toledo Masterworks Chorale. He was a featured soloist with the Fredonia Chamber Orchestra on the world premiere of David Finko’s Concerto Grosso No. 3 for 4 Clarinets and Chamber Orchestra as the Contrabass Clarinet soloist in 2015, and also with the Fredonia Wind Ensemble as a featured bass clarinet soloist in 2016. An avid chamber musician, he is a founding member of the MezzoBlasto clarinet quartet, which has performed throughout Western New York. As an educator he has taught all ages and ability levels, from young students first learning the clarinet to high school and collegiate musicians. Tim earned his Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from SUNY Fredonia studying with Dr. Andrew Seigel and his Master's degree in Music Performance from Bowling Green State University studying with Kevin Schempf.
